Golden Beryl Morganite Drop Earrings

$2850.00 USD  Item: 1592

J.P. Morgan was one of the most important gem collectors in the early 1900s working with both Tiffany & Co and their chief geologist, George Kunz. So following the discovery of the new locality of the rare and distinct rose beryl in Madagascar, Kunz named the gem morganite to honor his good friend and customer. The beautiful lady-like color is perfect with today's fashions and these bold earrings complimented with golden beryl and most definitely Oscar worthy. The surprise of these show stoppers is that they are two earrings in one. Constructed of 18kt yellow gold with the top rim of the morganite crowned by a melee of diamonds. Wear the cushion cut faceted golden beryl studs alone or add the pear shaped morganite drops for a jaw-dropping look. Feminine and elegant.
